IMechE haved announced their first technical visit of 2015 on Thursday 5th March from 16.00 to the Stool Giroflex factory in Koblenz, AG (on the Swiss-German border). Giroflex have been active in the market of office chair supply for almost 150 years and patented the first spring-swivel chair design in 1926. They offer a wide range of chair models from their main production facility and research and development center in Koblenz.

A social evening being organised by Chris Gawith, the IMecheE West Switzerland Officer, at the Restaurant Quai 23 in Nyon at 7pm on Thursday 24th October.

As a reminder, the IMechE have two upcoming technical visits planned; the first to BMC this Thursday 25th September and the second to Zwilag on 16th October. There are still spaces available for both tours. Contact details are available on the Near you page.

The IMechE Switzerland group will visiting the Zwilag facility in Würenlingen, Aargau on Thursday 16th October from 17.00.  It is a free event to attend.
